Initially I only had enough copper strap for 11 turns on the primary. Then my friend Shawn gave me the additional 15' I needed to fill the supports. :-) Yea Shawn!

PRIMARY
Initially I only had enough copper strap for 11 turns on the primary. Then my friend Shawn gave me the additional 15' I needed to fill the supports. :-) Yea Shawn!
SECONDARY
The secondary is wound on 4" thinwall PVC conduit(4.375" OD). It's 22AWG wound for 23", a total of ~836 turns.
Here are some shots of the stand for the coil while it was under construction. I used 1.5" PVC pipe for the stand. The two shelves are plywood. 3/8" for the lower one and 3/4" for the top one.
